Real Madrid 1-1 Paris Saint-Germain LIVE score and goal updates from Champions League last 16 first leg

Real Madrid will host Paris Saint-Germain at the Bernabeu this evening as Los Blancos look to gain the upper hand in their last 16 tie.

Zinedine Zidane’s side became the first team in the history of the Champions League in its current format to retain the trophy when they beat Juventus in Cardiff last year.

But they face one of the tournament’s favourites early in the knockout stages with Neymar and co bidding to take an advantage back to the French capital for the second leg.

The Champions League represents Real’s only real opportunity of silverware between now and the end of the season as they sit 14 points adrift of Barcelona in the Spanish title race and are out of the Copa del Rey.
